Change the style of your Earth Runners sandals by freshening up the look with a choice of different conductive laces (available in Performance and Lifestyle). There are various designs to choose from to give your Earth Runners that fancy new look! All laces feature the new plug style.

How do Earth Runners Laces Work?
The conductive laces are an important feature of all Earth Runners grounding minimalist footwear. The laces contain conductive stainless steel thread, which is through the entire length of the lace and is attached to a copper plug at the bottom of the footwear which keeps you grounded.
Our feet can therefore receive the Earth's efficient flow of electrons via the copper plug circuit and conductive stainless steel thread as our skin is in contact with this stainless steel thread on the underside of the lace.
Is It Useful To Have Spare Laces?
We have decided to offer these extra laces in a variety of different styles should people want to change the style of their Earth Runners or have some as spares. Please note that we do not change the laces for you. You must purchase the Earth Runners Sandals plus an extra pair of laces to re-lace them yourself. Please see this instructional video which shows you how to re-lace your Earth Runners. All you need is a pair of needle-nose pliers. The laces are available in sizes medium or large and can be trimmed down to your preferred length.
What are the Key Differences Between Earth Runners Lifestyle and Performance Laces?
Performance laces are designed for more active use and offer greater security and durability. Lifestyle laces are designed primarly with everyday comfort in mind.
Lifestyle laces offer maximum comfort and flexibility and come in two different types:
- Classic lifestyle: Balanced pliable/secure lace construction with 5/8” or 1/2" Mil-Spec reinforced two-ply webbing. New earthing plug style and conductive stainless steel thread. Available in colours grey and tribal. Each set includes 2 x laces.
- Ergonomic lifestyle: 9/16” Double tubular webbing. New earthing plug style and conductive stainless steel thread. Available in colours canyon clay, sunset and carbon black. Each set includes 2 x laces.
Performance Laces offer more security and longevity:
- Featuring a 1/2" (12.7mm) hydrophobic polyester webbing that is wrapped in a highly abrasion-resistant Mil-Spec nylon resulting in a 9/16" (15mm wide lace). New earthing plug style and conductive stainless steel thread. Available in colours khaki, blue and ranger. Each set includes 2 x laces.
Please note: The Performance and Classic Lifestyle Grounded Conductive Laces contain a trace amount of latex which may not be suitable for those who are highly allergic. The Ergonomic Lifestyle Grounded Conductive Laces are 100% latex free.
Earth Runners come with a manufacturer warranty for the lifetime of their Vibram® sole. The warranty covers all sandals with at least 1mm of Vibram® sole material remaining below the forefoot. If your sandal sole or straps break during this time we will either repair or replace them for free. You are responsible for shipping them back to us for repair. Earth Runner sandals are made to the highest quality standards with the best materials that are available.
